“The planet is experiencing unprecedented climate change and the Internet is both part of the problem and the solution.”
I believe in the power of digital technologies to enable innovation and progress.
I am also aware of the negative and unnecessary impact those can have on people, society and natural ecosystems if not used wisely.
Advocating, educating and acting for a responsible and efficient use of digital technologies has been part of FRA’s focus since its foundation, both in terms of offering and communications.
On 5th November 2025, FRA has become a signatory of the Sustainable Web Manifesto and committed to the following principles:
Clean: The services I provide and services I use will be powered by renewable energy.
Efficient: The products and services I provide will use the least amount of energy and material resources possible.
Open: The products and services I provide will be accessible, allow for the open exchange of information, and allow users to control their data.
Honest: The products and services I provide will not mislead or exploit users in their design or content.
Regenerative: The products and services I provide will support an economy that nourishes people and planet.
Resilient: The products and services I provide will function in the times and places where people need them most.
